Greg Hanson – Clinical Psychologist
MClinPsych, BPsych (Hons), MAPS (Member of the Australian Psychological Society), FCCLP (Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychology)
Greg brings a supportive and empathic approach to his therapeutic treatment. He has extensive experience working across a variety of settings. Greg is passionate about helping people find meaning and purpose.
His focus is on understanding you as an individual. He draws from a range of evidence-based techniques to tailor treatment to suit your needs. These techniques are drawn from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
In his practice, Greg often works with those experiencing depression. People may be hesitant to seek help, owing to the perception that asking for help is difficult. However, through building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, the initial hesitation can be overcome. Greg also works with adults experiencing anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders (i.e., difficulties related to life/role changes), grief and loss, interpersonal difficulties, as well as stress and burnout.
